Stephanie was raised by a single mom after her father passed away at a young age. She graduated high school from Huntsville Christian Academy, where she was in the choir. Then she went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she became a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and won the "Distinguished Student Leader of the Year" Award in 2017.

After graduating from UAH, she attended Tennessee State University in Nashville to pursue her master’s degree in Social Work. During this time, she completed internships with Communities in Schools of Tennessee and Meharry Medical College. She also collaborated with representatives in the Tennessee General Assembly to consult on House Bill 1610 and implement different advocacy initiatives. For these efforts, Tennessee State University awarded her with the 2020 Dr. Hollace L. Brooks Award for Policy Analysis.

For the past two years, she has been working as a licensed social worker in North Alabama. During that time she gained experience working with children in foster care, juvenile offenders, inmates, patients with substance use disorders, sexual abuse victims, and more. In addition, she is an active member of the National Association of Social Workers, Alabama Chapter, and a volunteer on the legislative committee.

If elected she wants to work towards improvement for ALL citizens of Limestone County. She believes that her experience as a social worker and the fact that she is not a career politician makes her perfect for this role.

Janice raised Stephanie as a single mother. She showed her how to be a strong, educated, independent woman. Janice is helping her daughter as a financial manager for the campaign and is excited to share this journey with her daughter.
Stephanie met Patricia through an online application from her campaign website. Patricia started as an intern and soon became a campaign manager. She is just as commited to this campaign as Stephanie, and plays a critical role in reaching the Gen Z and Millenial voters.

Ken is the former party chair of the Limestone County Democrats. He is able to help Stephanie because he has experience in speaking, communications, and press releases. In addition to his experience, he is also very well-connected in the community and is helping her make necessary connections in order to get elected.
