RUN FOR OFFICE
State Representative, MA 8th Bristol District
PRIMARY: Sep 8th
For too long we've had representatives that run unopposed and vote not always in the best interest of our of our residents. So I think that that this year is a year for change with so many pressing issues facing our district.
Evan grew up in Fall River, Massachusetts and is a current resident of Westport. A product of Fall River Public Schools and Westport Community Schools, he has a unique understanding of the issues facing our education system. He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst as well as the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science.
Working at a number of local businesses, he has seen and discussed the negative impact of a heavy tax and regulatory burden, bolstering his strong belief in fiscal responsibility.
Through his time working on a US Senate campaign and managing local campaigns, Evan gained valuable experience hearing from people throughout the Commonwealth. He was a research assistant at the Public Policy Center where he worked to inform evidence-based policymaking.
Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Westport Republican Town Committee and is also a research consultant focusing on issues ranging from economic development to public health. With deep ties to the local community, Evan is committed to listening to and serving the residents of the district.
Marc has prior experience running for city council and has used his knowledge to help Evan navigate his way through his election. He believes Evan is perfect for this position because he is well spoken, understands the issues and has the ability to face any challenge that might come his way.
Chris is a former City Council member and Public Safety Commissioner for the city of Fall River. He initially met Evan when Evan volunteered for his city council election. He is now hoping to repay the favor and help him get elected.
Friend & Volunteer
Although Mike's personal views tend to skew more left, he has decided to support Evan because he believes that Evan wants to work with both sides to create change. He believes that the younger generation is better equipped to listen to each other's opinions than the current establishment.
