Maia lives in Hamilton, Ontario with her husband and 2 year old son. As an environmental aide she cleans operating rooms for a living.

While her toddler naps she steals time for herself to work on her massive LEGO MOCs.

She loves camping, hiking, swimming, animals, and considers herself a pretty decent mixologist. Of course her true passion is LEGO.

Maia began building with her father at about 5 years old when she was gifted a "Night Lord's Castle" set, which she rebuilt and expanded upon and led to a love building castles today. Perhaps her most ambitious build is a "Graystone Castle" diorama consisting of 100,000 bricks. The interior depicts a typical day within the castle, showing the hustle and bustle of the castle staff preparing for an event. It recently won 2nd place in a LEGO castle contest.

Maia's father Jamie is married with 5 children, one of which he is so excited to compete with on LEGO Masters!

Jamie has been playing with bricks his whole life. He literally played with clay bricks growing up and would build structures out of them. He got into LEGO when his children were born, and has been building with Maia since she was 4 years old.

Jamie got Maia into LEGO as a child; winning LEGO Masters could be an incredible culmination of their LEGO journey!
