LEGO MASTERS SEASON 5
The Boating Bricksters
Roldan and Jack are two adventurous Gen-Z kids who spend as much time sailing the waters of Lake Michigan as they do perfecting their LEGO skills.
After meeting on the job as sailing instructors, Roldan and Jack quickly bonded over their shared love of competition, nature, and creativity.
Both currently living in Michigan, these two young adults thrive in the outdoors. Roldan and Jack prefer the outdoors and often push each other to test their skills on the lake. Whether it's racing sailboats, crewing a 40-footer, or solo sailing, there isn't much they can't do in the water.
As children, both Roldan and Jack have fond memories of building with their families. Over the years, Roldan has honed his skills into a crucial creative outlet that showcases his love of sculpture, scale models, and works of art.
They excel at highly detailed sculptural builds, focusing on dynamically posed characters and whimsical storytelling. Roland loves to hone in on the overall design of a build, while relying on Jack's creative spark and attention to detail to bring his ideas to life.
Roldan's "Knight on Horseback" build gained considerable attention and was nominated at Brickworld Chicago. He has placed in the Top 10 and has been a runnner-up in LEGO Ideas Competions, and was a LEGO robot designer for his championship-winning LEGO League team.
Roldan and Jack are eager to show off their youthful energy in their builds. As accomplished sailors, they both know the impoortance of teamwork and will depend on each other during LEGO Masters the same way that they do while they're sailing together. They have both saved the other one's life (literally!) in rough waters, so they know neither will crack under the pressure of a tough build challenge.
