Sam Talbot is a chef, author and tv personality who was a semi finalist on Season 2 of Top Chef. He was voted the viewer’s “Fan Favorite” of the season and was later named one of People’s “Sexiest Men Alive” in 2012.
He began his training at Johnson and Wales University in Charleston, SC, and later went on to hold the Executive Chef role at Black Duck in Manhattan before opening up several successful New York eateries. His various restaurants have been recognized by New York Magazine, Zagat and have been recommended in The Michelin Guide.
Talbot is at the forefront of the sustainable living moment and he works to break down the walls between the way we eat and the way we live. Diagnosed at a young age with juvenile diabetes, Talbot has a profound understanding on the impact of food on life and life on food.
