Justin is a St. Paul, Minnesota native that has competed on Season 16 of Top Chef and won Iron Chef America. Currently, he is co-host of TruTV's Fast Foodies with Kristen Kish and Jeremy Ford.
He is classically-trained in French cuisine, but returned to his southern roots to become the executive chef of Handsome Hog in St. Paul.
In his highly anticipated first cookbook, Northern Soul, Justin shares the inspiration and foundation behind his approach to his signature Southern cooking. He takes inspiration from his upbringing in the Northern Midwest and the South, as well as his African-American and Asian heritage.
